Trip Update
March 2008- Lipscomb Family
The Lipscomb family of Memphis, Tennessee felt led by God to donate money to purchase a new 20,000 KV sound proof generator. The Generator was installed in March of 2008.
The generator was much needed because the Two Worlds Children's Home and School is without power much of the time.
Praise God for meeting this major need!

April 28- May 1, 2008 - Immanuel Christian School
The Immanuel Christian School in Northern Virginia has for many years been the sister school of the Two World's Christian school. This year the school has committed to raising $6,500 which will pay for all of the books and uniforms needed for the start of the Indian school year in June.
We praise the Lord for blessing the ministry so richly through this American School!
One of the boys in the class of Immanuel Christian School who heard Pastor Mekala speaking was touched to hear that the children at the school in India do not even have shoes to wear. The boy told his father about it who made a major gift the next day! Praise God for meeting the needs of our Christian School through the generosity of believers in America.

May 9, 2008- Pastor Mekala visits Washington, D.C.
Pastor Mekala was staying in Northern Virginia with Clarence Martin, who has worked for many years in the United States Senate building. Clarence introduced Pastor Mekala to several United States Senators. Pastor Mekala gave Senator Edward Kennedy the latest copy of the "Praise Newsletter" which Senator Kennedy said he would read that night. Praise God!

May 20, 2008- Pastor Mekala visits Colorado Springs, CO. with Dr. Rochunga Pudaite from Bibles for the World
Pastor Mekala traveled to Colorado Springs, Colorado on friday, May 16 to speak at a Home Church Conference. After the conference he was able to tour several large Christian ministries including Focus on the Family and Compassion International. One very special part of the trip was the privilege of meeting with Rochunga Pudaite and his wife Mawii. Dr. Ro is from the north-eastern part of India and has translated the entire Bible into his tribe's native language. His life story was featured in the movie, "Beyond the Next Mountain" and the book, "Fire on the Hills". Dr. Ro and his wife founded the ministry "Bibles for the World", and have printed and mailed tens of millions of Bibles throughout Asia over the last several decades.
Pastor Mekala discussed printing more Bibles in the Telugu language for distribution by the Bless India pastors. Praise God!
