Pastor Nathan Rehn, Founding Member
Pastor Nate met Pastor Mekala on his first trip to the U.S. Pastor Mekala, not knowing anyone in America, needed a place to stay. The Lord brought Pastor Nate along through a series of miracles to provide for him in his time of need. During his 2000 trip to India, Pastor Nate was asked to name a baby, after which the child’s spiritually-oppressed Hindu mother was saved. Michael Denton, Founding Member
Michael Denton first met Pastor Mekala in California where he was sharing about the ministry in India. Pastor Mekala personally challenged Michael to visit him in India, promising that he would never be the same. Paul Caprera, Chairman
Paul first heard about the work in India from friend and mentor Michael Denton, who showed him video footage from his 2002 trip to India. Paul says, “When I watched the video I came away with a sense of awe and fear- this was the real deal. God was real and at work though broken and completely commited people.” He would later go to India four times. Paul has been very valuable in organizing the board meetings as well as coordinating the legal aspects of the ministry since its inception. Read more...

Candace Hawkins, Secretary
Candy Hawkins, nicknamed “Chocolate” by the orphans, fell in love with them during her two visits to India in 2005 and 2006. “I saw God’s power in India. I witnessed the healing of a newborn who hadn’t stopped crying or slept for six weeks until we prayed over her. She stopped crying in my arms! Her mother came to know Christ!” She has served as secretary of the ministry since its beginning. Read more...
Jessica Rotz, Treasurer
Jessica first met Pastor Mekala after getting an e-mail announcing that he would be speaking in her area. She has been captivated by the idea of helping orphan children since she was a little girl. She heads up the Bless India Office and is the person you speak to when you call the toll-free number. She has also manages all finances and accounting, and has been instrumental in organizing the sponsorship system and database. Read more...
Sam Allen, President
Sam was first exposed to the ministry almost three years ago and visited India for the first time in January 2007. He was absolutely blown away by the opportunity to take children off the street and make such a lasting difference in their lives. Pastor Sudheer Mekala
As a child, Sudheer was carried on his father’s back as he traveled to remote villages to preach the Gospel. Due to this great exposure to the needs and the attitudes of the tribal people, Sudheer jumped into the ministry with both feet. His heart is especially burdened for the unreached tribes, who are poverty stricken, superstitious, and spiritually oppressed. Read more...
