Join the India 2010 Ministry Team
Do you ever feel stagnant in your Christian walk? You hear stories of people just on FIRE for the Lord and you envy them. Maybe you’re struggling with trials in your own life—a lost job, financial problems, the death of a loved one, or relationship issues. Perhaps you wonder about certain issues—the will of God, how to be in this world but not of it, why God answers some prayers but not others. It could be you’re not questioning or struggling in any way at all, but you want to make a personal investment in your Christian life, want to make a decision that will impact the rest of your life.
Sounds like you’re ready for a trip to India. It may seem naive to suggest that a missions trip could touch so many areas of your life, could “solve” anything at all—but you cannot underestimate the value of witnessing Christians who are completely sold out for Christ, and facing persecution on a regular basis. Until you go, you cannot understand how powerful it is to be immersed in a third world culture where people grind flour with rocks and live in huts with less square footage than an average sized American bathroom. You will not feel true humility until you’ve met little children who have suffered abuse but still radiate the love of Jesus like shining beacons in the darkness. Such an experience—truly a once-in-a-lifetime chance—will leave an indelible mark on your heart. It will put all of life into perspective. It will inspire you, and challenge you, and change you.
Each year Bless India sponsors an official ministry trip to India. The general cost is around $2,500, and includes airfare, meals, and lodging (does not include passport/visa fees, or vaccinations.) It’s not too early to express interest in the 2010 trip.
