God
We believe in one God, eternally co-existing in three persons: Father, Son and Holy Spirit; each of Whom is equal in being, power, and glory. (Matt. 28:18, 19; John 6:27; II Cor. 13:14; Heb. 1:8; Acts 5:3, 4)
Creation
We believe God created the heavens and the earth, including all life, "each after its own kind," by direct act in six literal days.
(Gen. 1,2; Col. 1:16, 17; John 1:3; Heb. 11:3)
The Bible
We believe the Bible, in its entirety, is the inspired and infallible Word of God, and our only rule for faith and practice. (II Tim. 3:16, 17)
Jesus Christ
We believe in the deity of Jesus Christ- fully God and fully man. We believe Him to be God's only Son. We believe in His virgin birth, sinless life, sacrificial atoning death on the cross for our sins, His bodily resurrection, and His ascension to heaven at the Father's right hand where He is the Head of the Church and intercedes for believers. We believe in His personal return in power and glory.
(John 1:1-3, 29; 3:16; Luke 1:30-35; John 14:1-3; I Cor. 15:3-5; Col. 1:18; Heb. 4:15, 7:25; I Pet. 3:18, 22)
Man
We believe man was created in the image and likeness of God, and that through Adam all of the human race is born with a sin nature. That because man has sinned, he has incurred not only physical but also spiritual death, which is separation from God. We believe that man is totally depraved and, of himself, totally unable to remedy his lost condition. However, salvation by grace through faith in the Lord Jesus, delivers anyone from the penalty and power of sin, and gives eternal life. (Gen. 1:27; Rom. 3:22-24)
Salvation
We believe that salvation from the eternal penalty of sin is a free gift of God's grace and that it is available to anyone who believes in the Lord Jesus and his death, burial, and resurrection. We believe that, upon the death of a believer or the return of Christ, all those who believe in Christ will be taken "to be with the Lord" to live forever. We believe in the bodily resurrection of both the saved and the lost, they that are saved unto the resurrection of life and they that are lost unto the resurrection of damnation. We believe in the present ministry of the Holy Spirit in the life of each believer enabling Christians to live a godly life.
(Eph. 2:8, 9; John 10:27, 28; I Thess. 4:15-17; I John 5:13; Romans 8:1)
